Mastiff Elbow Hematomas
The other day I came across a comment that made me ponder. In a literature program, an interviewer praised "the great humanism of the guest." This attribute disturbed me. In the way he used was given to understand that the guest was a person who had great culture because they loved human being. It seemed so we were dealing with a philanthropist with all of the law. But this not really the case.
The humanist is one who loves the human being. That few people discuss, what is not so clear is the concept of human being that the neologism "humanist" refers. The human being into thinking these discourses is neither more nor less than a perfect man, with great sensitivity, studies and impeccable morality. A humanist is a trained human being who denies his character to be desiring.
If we accept this definition I would say that there is no real humanist, since this definition is based on a utopian image of man and very restricted.
A humanist denies or downplays those miserable moments that are submerged in the depths of consciousness. Unspeakable emotions we deal with daily: the extreme hatred that wake us up certain characters, bad sound jealous to the fate of his friend, childhood dreams where we are wanted by everyone, fictitious social situations where we can demonstrate a scorching .... Inside the emotional life of every human outcrop and are denied these miserable feelings for a moral code.
Morality is nothing more than the internalization of a useful social law of coexistence and order. Who acts morally repressing passions that inevitably make up his being. This is not bad, but it is wrong to think that being moral one ceases to have a mean dimension.
The substrate is miserable man that denies the concept of being human. The humanist want these little shortcomings are completely eradicated. As a true fascist, the humanist wants to channel all men in the pattern of human beings. Humanism is a dream where everyone knows Latin, repressed impulses composing sonnets, while art is critical and a competent expert in the theory of superstrings.
Given the contempt for these high issues of the crowd, the vanity of humanist extremely irritating because it represents a high loss of potential fans. In the lust and recklessness mass, the humanist acts with condescension that is neither more nor less than sadistic hatred of a refined spirit. So it would be appropriate to say that misanthropy is the other side of the coin of humanism.
